Calling all hospitality professionals – the College of Charleston School of Business’ Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is partnering with the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association (GCRSA), the Charleston Area Hospitality Association (CAHA) and other local organizations to host the second annual Charleston Hospitality Opportunity Fair.
The fair will be held on Tuesday, February 27 from 11 am – 4 pm at the TD Arena located at 301 Meeting Street. Tri-County area job seekers, students and alumni from College of Charleston, Culinary Institute of Charleston, Trident Technical College and the Art Institute of Charleston along with local high school students are all welcome to attend.
During this event, attendees will be able to explore the wide range of employment opportunities available in the hospitality industry. The event will feature over 75 employers hiring for part-time and full-time positions, contract or seasonal employment, management-in-training and supervisory positions, as well as internships and volunteer work. There will be job opportunities for all skill levels with employers from all realms of hospitality.
Employers such as Queen Street Hospitality Group, Hotel Bennett, The Dewberry Charleston, Homegrown Hospitality Group, North Charleston Marriott, Charleston Hospitality Group, Charlestowne Hotels and Wild Dunes Resort will be on site and are looking forward to meeting with prospective employees to share job opportunities.
The Charleston Hospitality Opportunity Fair is free to attend and open to the public with complimentary shuttle buses running to TD Arena from the Trident Technical College Main Campus and Palmer Campus, The College of Charleston North Campus and the Art Institute of Charleston.
