Ghost Kitchen Charleston just recently opened their doors in February 2021. But, you can’t exactly go there for your next date night. Ghost kitchens provide kitchen space for food trucks, small businesses, caterers, chefs and more.
While customers cannot visit the 5,000 square foot culinary space for a meal, it is frequently used as the hub for small businesses to prepare meals for various food delivery services.
According to their website, Ghost Kitchen Charleston’s “team is comprised of experienced members of the Charleston Food and Beverage community who want to build a space that supports the wide variety of food-based entrepreneurs in the Lowcountry.”
Ghost Kitchen offers everything from kitchen cooking stations rentals to food storage to parking and electrical outlets for food trucks.
The owner of Ghost Kitchen Charleston, Steve Wenger, is eager to help small businesses in Charleston succeed. In a statement, Wenger said “my mission is to help small businesses grow and be successful while making their lives easier.”
