Here in Charleston, we are preparing for all things fall! Pumpkin Spice everything is back in business, apple cider is now everyone’s go to beverage, but the one thing we are missing is that beautiful fall weather!
Although we are still waiting on the weather to change, we don’t have to wait on those beloved fall events! Corn mazes, pumpkin carving, and trick or treats are just around the corner.
Mark your calendar for these Charleston Fall-tastic events:
- Boone Hall Fright Night: September 28th- October 31st, times vary
A frightening night of corn mazes, haunted houses, and hayrides! Prices vary depending on the ticket you purchase. This event is not recommended for children 12 and younger!

2. West Farm Corn Maze: September 28th- October 28th
Friday: 5-10 p.m. Saturday: 11 a.m.- 10 p.m. Sunday: 1-8 p.m.
West Farm’s 14th annual corn maze theme is Bumblebees! They are raising awareness on the importance of bumblebees! A great, family friendly corn maze, pumpkin patch, and hayride location!
12 years and older: $10.50
3-11 years old: $6.30
2 years and younger: free!

3. Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch: September 29th- October 31st
Monday-Saturday: 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.
A family friendly day filled with corn mazes, an all american petting zoo, a friendly hayride, and a rock climbing wall. Admission Monday- Thursday is $10 and Friday- Sunday is $12! All children 2 and under have free admission.

4. House and Gardens Tour: October 4th-28th, 2018, 2-5 p.m.
Self-guided tours of 6-7 private homes and gardens in downtown Charleston. The tours cost $50 per person and locations will vary.
5. Hot Air Balloon Festival and Victory Cup Polo Match: October 12th-14th, times vary
Join the crowds watching a morning launch of hot air balloons as well as evening glows and tethered rides! Dozens of vendors, chefs, musicians, and artist will be in attendance displaying their unique skills. Price varies between $5 & $30.

6. Oktoberfest Charleston: October 13th, 12-6 p.m.
Spend the day tasting unique beers, wines, and snacks while enjoying German Polka Music! This is a family friendly event, and will include children’s games and face painting.
St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church
405 King Street, Charleston
7. Follypalooza: October 20th, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Follypalooza proceeds benefit the residents of Folly Beach who are receiving cancer treatments! This event will feature live music, an art competition, and an art auction all within a carnival theme! Children 12 and under, as well as Folly Beach Residents have free admission. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.

8. Ghostwalk: October 20th, 6-9 p.m.
Dress up in your favorite costume and meet in Town Square for an evening of family fun. Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door! Each ticket includes one Ghost walk tour plus carnival games. Hayride tickets will be sold separately!

9. Coastal Carolina Fair: October 25th- November 4th, times vary
One of the Lowcountry’s most beloved events of the fall season! Deep fried foods, fair rides, live music, art exhibits, and so much more in one area! Prices vary!

10. Goose Creek Halloween Carnival: October 27th, 5-7 p.m.
An evening full of carnival games, candy, prizes, a cupcake walk, Halloween crafts, and a costume contest! This event is free!

11. Isle of Palms Halloween Carnival: October 31st, 5-7 p.m.
Halloween evening filled with games for all ages, jump castles, temporary tattoos, face painting, candy, prizes, and so much more!
