Charleston Fashion Week is ramping up for their 2019 shows and they’re looking for female models over the age of thirteen.

The search begins this Saturday, Jan 19, at the Embassy Suites located in Downtown Charleston. You must register by 12:30 pm for a guaranteed audition and bring a credit or debit card for the $25 audition fee (checks and cash will not be accepted).

Currently, only female models are being cast but don’t worry guys, there will be male auditions later in the year.

Worried about what to wear and how to look? Don’t be. They want all models to wear a black tee or tank top with black leggings or fitted pants or shorts and a minimum of 3” heels. Leave the sneakers and wedges at home. Also, don’t bring your extensions or paint your nails, they want natural makeup, nails, and hair.

One thing you do want to bring is a parent if you’re under the age of eighteen. It is a requirement for a parent to be present during registration if you’re between thirteen and seventeen years old.

If you’re selected, you’ll be a part of a renewed fashion week. Lexus CFW will be different from years past as it goes through a refresh, and instead of a five-night event, there will be different events throughout the year around the entire city, similar to New York Fashion Week.

Start practicing your catwalk tonight.
