Charleston is one of the best restaurant cities in the South the entire country. We’re pretty well known for our seafood, our bbq, and our comfort food. But there’s ONE type of food that’s on the underrated side. Sushi.
People go crazy for sushi. Rolls can be so pretty that sometimes it’s hard not to just stare. Sushi can be creamy, crunchy, hot, cold, spicy, sweet, pretty much whatever you’re in the mood for. Sushi rolls are (usually) healthy, inexpensive, perfect for sharing, and just down-right delicious, which makes it hard to not want it ALL. THE. TIME.
- Locals Bar
Hence their name, Local’s Bar is a “local” favorite. Killer specials set them apart—from ½ off sushi to half off bottles of wine. Live music & an outdoor patio will make you pull off the road to check out this hoppin’ Mt. Pleasant sushi bar.Image Credit: Wasabi/Facebook
