Worried about spending Valentine’s Day alone? Have no fear, there are plenty of fun Valentine’s Day events for Charleston singles happening this Thursday.
Here are five events you can enjoy alone or with a group of friends:
Hang out with other Charleston singles at The Brick’s anti-Valentine’s Day party from 9 pm to 2 am on Valentine’s Day. The motto of the party is”screw love” and they’re welcoming all people who share the motto. They’ll have color-coded cups for each partier depending on their interest in mingling with others, music by DJ Mikey Lee, and $0.50 wings.
Grab your best girlfriends and head to Republic for the ultimate Galentine’s Day. You can even make your own flower crown with Fetes de Fleurs from 7 pm to 9 pm during a flower crown workshop. Tickets to the event also include one complimentary glass of champagne. Other food and drinks will be available during the party from 4 pm to 2 am.
Holding onto some anger from your last relationship? Head to Palmetto Brewing and let it out with some axe throwing with Blade and Bull Axe Throwing of Charleston. It’s all you can throw, all night for only $10 and all core brand Palmetto beers will be $4.
The Grand Bohemian Hotel is hosting a Rosé party on the rooftop from 9 pm to 11 pm with drink specials, food, and live music. Specials include $5 Rosé vodka drinks and $20 bottles of featured Rosé wine. DJ Kaila Picard will be there all night serving the beats.
Cocktail Club’s jilted lovers party is back and offering fun, drink specials, live music, and the chance to win a prize. The guest with the best (worst) jilted lovers story will win a $200 prize. The event is free, open to the public, and welcoming of anyone with the anti-Valentine’s spirit.
